Founded in 2020 by Wes Case, KOSM helps students grow as musicians and as people by offering expert, nuanced online instruction. Whether you are an accomplished musician or just getting started, resuming your musical journey in adulthood or helping your children take their first steps, KOSM has a course of instruction that’s just right for your needs.

Our Mission

KOSM goes beyond simple rote instruction to help students choose the right gear, explore musical opportunities in their communities and musical traditions around the world, and flourish as they set and achieve meaningful goals.

Our Journey

Until recently, online music lessons were limited by the constraints of available technology. High-quality remote instruction is now a reality. KOSM’s platform offers an experience that surpasses in-person lessons, bringing world-class instruction to students on their own terms, with no transportation headaches or pandemic concerns.

What We Offer

We offer more than just music lessons: KOSM delivers a musical experience. Our instructors represent dozens of cultures, instrument specialties, and musical traditions, and each is certified and formally trained. Lessons can be flexibly scheduled directly on KOSM’s platform, and students are encouraged to leave reviews of their instructors.

We place special emphasis on youth instruction, and several of our teachers are highly experienced in early music education. Parents are invited to observe or participate in lessons—after all, we aim to help children begin lifelong musical journeys.
